Principal's Message to parents
Dear Parents and Students,
There was great turbulence in last few days. We certainly understand that this is a challenging time for everyone. There are a lot of unknowns, and every day brings new information. However, the best part is, the sun always comes up the next morning, giving us a new dawn, a new chance, a new day. There is always something to smile about and all that is part of game. It is my sincere hope that you and your family remain healthy during this unprecedented time.
We all have equal time throughout the world. No one has more or less. The difference lies in how each one of us does with our time. .We need to realign ourselves and to rise to the new challenges. It is the prime and foremost need of the hour to ensure that instruction and learning continues unabated. We at school is committed to preparing you for success and the staff is ‘Owning the moment’, working to stay connected to students and plan lessons that will continue the learning. Our goal is to provide a high quality, engaging learning experience for our students through Remote Learning Experience that is manageable for families who may be juggling multiple responsibilities during these unprecedented times.

ADMISSION FOR THE SESSION 2022 - 23
Admission Notice for classes I to IX session 2022-23
The applicants seeking admissions in class-I, are required to have minimum 05 yrs of age as on 31 Mar 2022. The applicants not meeting this criteria, will NOT be issued Registration Form for Class-I.
The applicants under priorities 192 (f), (g) and (h) come under civil wards category and will ONLY be considered subject to availability of vacancies, consequent to admissions of all applicants of higher priority.
The applicants for class I will be admitted on first come first serve basis.
The applicants for class II to IX will be admitted on basis of Entrance Test.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

- Birth Certificate / CTC of Part-II order.
- Serving Certificate / copy of Discharge Book.
- Pay Slip / Salary Slip.
- Copy of Student & Parents Aadhar Card.
- One Photograph of student with Mother & Father Jointly.
- 02 Passport size photograph of the Student.
APPLICANTS OF CLASS-II TO iX
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC) of previous School.
- Copy of Report Card of previous class.
- Serving Certificate / copy of Discharge Book.
- Pay Slip / Salary Slip.
- Copy of Student & Parents Aadhar Card.
- One Photograph of student with Mother & Father Jointly.
- 02 Passport size photograph of the Student.

LOCAL SELECTION BOARD : 2022
SELECTION OF ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
Applications are invited for selection of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (Preferably for Account Section) on Fixed Term (for 03 years), published in local Newspaper.
Application without application fee of Rs 150/- (Non-Refundable) will not be accepted.
No application will be accepted through e-mail.
Date of interview will be intimated through e-mail.

Quotations/Tenders are invited from contractors/firms/dealers for various works/purchases as per scope of work, prescribed by school for following works/projects :-
(a) Renovating of Chemistry Lab incl Tiling, Carpentry and Masonry repair work.
(b) Provn of Hard Standing/Padanza/Interlocking tiles at assembly Ground.
(c) Fabrication related works at Stage (Extension of stage shed).
(d) Masonry repairs/construction at stage.
(e) Floor Tiling work at Sr Wing Computer Lab.
(f) Purchase of Desktop Computers/Laptops for Computer Lab/Office.

TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender Documents can be obtained from School Office post paying the Tender Document Fee mentioned against each work/purchases (Non-Refundable). The Tender Documents Fee can be paid in School Office while obtaining Tender Documents only through Credit/Debit Card or can be paid through Demand Draft in favour of “Chairman Army Public School No 2 Roorkee” payable at “Roorkee”.

Remote learning with Microsoft Office 365 Plateform
Dear Students,
Amid Covid-19 lockdown, Army Public School No 2, Roorkee is switching to virtual classrooms. We are adopting e-learning for our students to compensate for days missed due to the lockdown. We are using the Microsoft Office 365 platform, a unique web service that aims to simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way. It is a versatile and convenient plateform that can be used on a desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone.
